Pull cover off the distributer and note where the rotator is pointing; that is where the plug wire for #1 cylinder goes intto the distributer cap. Firing order is 1-2-4-3 and the distributer rotates clockwise (looking down). Install the other 3 wires clockwise from #1 wire; 2, then 4, then 3.Location: east central SD. Points: 510. Post Options. You could use 80-90 wt in them if you like or Hy-Tran. Some use the 85-90 weight oil in the final drives as those pans tend to leak anyway, and the Hy-tran is lighter than the 85-90.First, does the tractor move if you pull back on the power director lever. If not, check the set screw at the base of the lever where it goes over the shaft. You can adjust the PD by removing the right side plate on the torque tube. You adjust it by moving shims. Get a service manual to tell you exactly how to do it.

connect the 2 black wires from the stator to a 'rectifier/regulator' module. Remove the top retaining ring and drive the pin out of the steering shaft. The steering wheel and shaft should then slide out as a unit.
